A letter from our founder

Thoughs  from Joseph Zarabi, founder of the PPI and the Mahsa International Fund

Dear friends,

Have you been feeling overwhelmed by all the bad news about war and great suffering?  Where conflicts inflame the entire Middle East, the repression of democratic movements, the rejection of diplomatic initiatives, and the death count that fills up headlines? We are witnessing the rise of racism, antisemitism, and theocracy in which vengeance and destabilization prevail over the will for peace and justice. But we can't just give up. If we don't stand up for democracy and justice, then who will? if we don’t work for the right of citizens to live in harmony and without fear, we will lose this same right, for us, our children, and generations to come.

The role of the people with us

I believe there is reason for hope: the people of the Middle East have the capacity to restore the peace that their governments have destroyed in their thirst for power. They just need our help. That's why I'm so passionate about the Peoples' Peace Initiative (PPI) that’s dedicated to helping the people of the Middle East bring peace to the region, and the Mahsa International Fund that I created to fight for democracy in my homeland, Iran, after the brutal death of Mahsa Amini, arrested and jailed for wearing the mandatory hijab “improperly”.

These two great causes are the driving force of my life, my pride, and my actions.  While their goals are ambitious for the balance of the region — and that of the entire world —I believe they're achievable through our working together.  Isn't that something worth fighting for?

Our mission:

We aim to merge the goals of the PPI and Mahsa International Fund to help ensure the rights for freedom of Iranians, Israelis, and Palestinians.  This fusion will allow us to share resources, contacts, and funds, and to identify and address more quickly immediate needs in the three countries. One fund, three actions/countries for peace!  We are committed to providing innocent victims with medical and financial assistance, technology, education, and jobs. Whether it is for the youths of Israel, Palestine, or Iran, we have a moral, human duty to protect them and ensure their right to life and the better future they deserve.  Because they are the future, and because the fragile peace we are trying to restore will next rely on them to make peace permanent.

More thoughts:

It's the first time that people of my dear homeland, Iran, along with the majority of Israelis and Palestinians, have a common enemy: the same fanatics that have ruled Iran over the last 40 years and are slowly, but surely, destroying the whole Middle East. It was this evidence that prompted me, after years of working on Peoples’ Peace Initiative, and two years on the Mahsa International Fund individually, to combine these two causes under the banner of the all-for-peace.org.

We do not claim to have the means to stop the war, or to bring down regimes. Our mission is to help innocent victims through concrete actions, and to support and empower them in their legitimate desire for peace, democracy, and economic independence.  We all know too well the human toll of fanaticism, extremism, and suppression, whether political or religious - a plague that doesn’t know borders. But one of the powerful ways to fight that is to foster conditions in which peace prevails, where people will thrive, and where their safety and prosperity become a vivid reality.

That’s why I’m asking you to join the action of the PPI and the Mahsa International Fund, in their common goal to create these very conditions that fight against extremism for a better, more just and freer Middle-East.

Our Call to Action

Here are some specific things we can do together to show the people of Iran, Israel, and Palestine that they're not alone. We can all be a part of building a more peaceful Middle East!

  • Donate to:
    -  The Peoples Peace Initiative: peoplespeaceinitiative.org
    - The Mahsa International Fund: mahsainternationalfund.org

  •   Spread the word about these organizations - tell your friends and family!

  • Speak out against injustice whenever we see it.
